Refund & Cancellation Policy

At IKAY DRYCLEAN, customer satisfaction is our priority. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, refunds, and service issues are handled.

By booking our services, you agree to the terms below.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

A. Before Pickup

Customers may cancel their order free of charge if cancellation is requested before pickup

B. After Pickup (Before Processing)

If garments have been picked up but not yet processed:

  • Cancellation may be allowed.
  • Pickup or service charges (if applicable) may be deducted.
  • Refund will be processed after deducting applicable charges.

C. After Processing Has Started

Once cleaning or processing has begun:

  • Cancellation is not allowed.
  • No refund will be issued, as service costs have already been incurred.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

A. Service Not Delivered

If IKAY DRYCLEAN is unable to deliver the service due to operational reasons, a full refund will be issued.


B. Quality Concern

If you are not satisfied with the service:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. We will inspect the garment.
  3. We may offer:
    • Complimentary re-cleaning, or
    • Partial refund (if applicable), or
    • Compensation as per company assessment.

Refund decisions are made after proper inspection and review.


C. Damaged or Lost Garments

In the rare case of damage or loss:

  • Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Compensation will be determined based on:
    • Age of garment
    • Condition prior to service
    • Market value (with reasonable depreciation applied)

IKAY DRYCLEAN’s liability shall not exceed:

  • 5 times the service charge for that garment, or
  • The assessed depreciated value, whichever is lower.

We are not responsible for:

  • Color bleeding due to fabric nature
  • Shrinkage due to manufacturer defects
  • Damage caused by pre-existing fabric weaknesses
  • Items left in pockets

3. Refund Processing Time

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued via the original mode of payment.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Minor variations in ironing/finishing
  • Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (weather, technical issues, etc.)
  • Failure to claim garments within a reasonable time
  • Garments with pre-existing damage not declared at pickup

5. Modification of Orders

Customers may modify orders before processing begins.
Additional charges may apply for added services.
